Individual Awards
Individual awards will be awarded to each of the top 25 finishers in a special awards presentation at the awards stand approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of each race. Individual awards will be given to the top 25 finishers by age in the 6-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 races. That is the top 25 individuals of each age based on their year of birth; 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14. This means that in the 9-10 girls race there will be individual
awards given to the top 25 finishers that were born in 2016 as well as
the top 25 finishers that were born in 2017. This also means that there
will be three sets of individual awards in both 6-8 age group races.
Age groups 15-16 and 17-18 will run together, but awards for teams and top 25 individuals in each race will be separate.
Team Awards
Team medals and a team plaque will be awarded to the top three teams. Even
though only five runners score and eight individuals may be declared on
your best team, the other members of your team in that particular age
group will also receive the team award up through the 13-14 age group.
So, if a team has 20 runners in the 11-12 girls age division all 20 runners will receive the team award.
