From Cincinnati    Take I-71,  take Exit 9A to the right and follow signs to I-265 South/Ky 841 South.    Go 2.1 miles.  Take Exit 32 to the right on to KY-1447/Westport Road.   Go .7 miles.  Turn left on Freys Hill Road(Thornton Oil is on the corner).  Go .5 mile to park entrance on the right.  Or continue .62 mile and turn right and then left in to the alternate parking lot across from the Motocross area.

From Lexington   Take I-64 to Exit 19B,  take ramp to the right, follow signs to I-265 North/KY 841 North.  Go 7.1 miles.  Take Exit 32 to KY-1447 to the right.  Turn right on to KY-1447W/Westport Road.  Go .7 miles.  Turn left on Freys Hill Road(Thornton Oil is on the corner).  Go .5 mile to park entrance on the right.  Or continue .62 mile and turn right and then left in to the alternate parking lot across from the Motocross area.

From St. Louis  Take I-64 across Indiana.  After cross the bridge in to Kentucky,  take Exit 6 to the right on to I-71 toward Cincinnati.  Go 3.7 miles to Exit 9A to the right.  Follow signs to I-265 South/KY 841 South.   Go 2.0 miles.  Take Exit 32 to the right on to KY-1447/Westport Road.   Go .7 miles.  Turn left on Freys Hill Road(Thornton Oil is on the corner).  Go .5 mile to park entrance on the right.  Or continue .62 mile and turn right and then left in to the alternate parking lot across from the Motocross area.

From Nashville    Take I-65 North.  Take Exit 125A to the right.  Follow signs to I-265 East/KY 841 East.   Go 22.3 miles.  .  Take Exit 32 to KY-1447 to the right.  Turn right on to KY-1447W/Westport Road.  Go .7 miles.  Turn left on Freys Hill Road(Thornton Oil is on the corner).  Go .5 mile to park entrance on the right.  Or continue .62 mile and turn right and then left in to the alternate parking lot across from the Motocross area.

From Indianapolis   Take I-65 South.   Take Exit 6A for IN-62 East/IN-265 East.   Go 11.8 miles. (Note you will cross the Ohio River Toll Bridge which mails a toll to your home for payment online.) IN-62 East/IN-265 East changes to I-265 South/KY-841 South)  Take Exit 32 to the right on to KY-1447/Westport Road.   Go .7 miles.  Turn left on Freys Hill Road(Thornton Oil is on the corner).  Go .5 mile to park entrance on the right.  Or continue .62 mile and turn right and then left in to the alternate parking lot across from the Motocross area.

Alternate directions to avoid Westport Road congestion

LaGrange Road (coming from Hurstborne Parkway):

·        Follow Hurstborne Parkway north to Lagrange Road   Rt. 146

·        Follow LaGrange Road from Lyndon past the Hurstbourne Lane overpass.

·        Turn left on Lakeland Road (immediately after passing Central State Hospital on the left).

·        Follow Lakeland Road through a 90 degree right turn.

·        Turn left on Frey's Hill Road (the first left after going through 90 degree right turn on Lakeland).

·        E.P. Sawyer Park parking entrance is the first left from Frey's Hill Road.

Park Road (coming from Anchorage):

·        Follow Park Road from Anchorage toward Central State Hospital

·        Turn right on Lakeland Road (immediately before Central State Hospital on the right).

·        Follow Lakeland Road through a 90 degree right turn.

·        Turn left on Frey's Hill Road (the first left after going through 90 degree right turn on Lakeland).

·        E.P. Sawyer Park parking entrance is the first left from Frey's Hill Road.

Evergreen Road (coming from Middletown):

·        Turn North (toward Anchorage) on Evergreen Road from Shelbyville Road.

·        Remain on Evergreen Road until it intersects and turns left onto Lakeland Road.

·        Follow Lakeland Road to until Frey's Hill Road intersects from the left.

·        Turn right on Frey's Hill Road.

·        E.P. Sawyer Park parking entrance is the first left from Frey's Hill Road.

Parking Information

Coaches with tents and equipment: Proceed to Lot#5 on the south side of the race courses, using the park entrance at the BMX and softball complexes. Identify yourself to the police officers and volunteers as a coach and you will be directed to park in the BMX lot#5 to drop off and then park in the lot#4.
All Other Auto Parking and Drop Offs: All cars carrying runners, spectators and volunteers, whether coming from Westport Road in the north or from Lakeland Road in the south will initially be directed to park in the grass parking area at lot#4 on the south side of the race courses, which is at the park entrance from Frey's Hill Road that leads to the BMX and softball complexes.  Please follow the direction of police officers and volunteers directing traffic.  Drivers who are dropping off passengers and not parking must still proceed into a parking lot to stop and drop off the passengers before exiting the lot.

Handicapped Parking: All cars with a handicapped rider should proceed to Gate 1 on the south side of the race courses where you will be directed to the handicapped lot in the softball complex.

Bus Parking: All team buses will park in the paved lot at the softball complex inside Lot#6 on the south side of the race courses near the start line. Whether coming from Westport Road in the north or Lakeland Road in the south all buses should take the park entrance from Frey's Hill Road that leads to the BMX and softball complexes.
